But it's the same plot. You get up there, and you can't remember your aria, or you prepared a musical theatre song, and they want Mozart and you didn't bring the music. I'm always ten times more nervous at an audition than at a performance. I love the rehearsals and performances. That's the fun part. (Even n...As an improvisor, I've had similar dreams. (Even now, and I haven't been on stage in over a year.) The only difference is that in the dream, instead of opening up a script I've never seen, I've forgotten how to improvise. It's always at a point in which a scene hinges on my next move.
