New Structure Class Added

Due to popular demand, the Attic Writers Workshop has added another story structure class for me. It will start Sunday, Jan 31st and continue for 10 weeks. Information is below. To sign up, contact Jill@atticwritersworkshop.com

Story Structure:

It happens to every writer--you start your novel, memoir, screenplay, or play full of excitement and then the story fizzles before you're halfway through. The answer is to master the techniques of story structure. This class focuses on how to build a page-turning tale that will keep readers up all night. Students will work in class on the mechanics of their stories-in-progress, regardless of the where you are in the process.

Time: Sundays, 10-weeks, 7:00-9:00pm, January 31 - April 4 @ The Attic Writers Workshop, 4232 SE Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, Oregon 97215

Total Fee: $330

Deposit: $100 (non-refundable)

Marc, I just got home from your two-day presentation at the Lake Chapala Writer's Conference, and you rock! You are a great teacher, and over-delivered good stuff, helping so many of us. Rob and I really enjoyed meeting you and learning from you. Hope to see more of you, from you, by you soon.

Hi Marc,

I love the humor in your writing. I am thinking about taking a class from you in Portland this summer. I am currently writing about my Zen practice. Although I have a sense of humor, this writing piece is not funny. Do you think you could still help me if I took your class?
