A quiet day. I went to the movies with my nine-year-old godson, Ian the Wonder Child, to see the Metropolitan Opera Broadcast of Hansel and Gretel, perhaps the only production to reference Hitler while the witch was being thrown in the oven. It definitely put the grim in the Brothers Grimm and allowed us to have a heartwarming discussion of the Holocaust on the ride home, which led to an analysis of the invasion of Iraq.
Along those lines, here's W giving the Hitler salute:
Today's New Thing was the official launch of my new website (www.MarcAcito.com). I'm particularly excited to finally have audio and video available for the first time so colleges across the nation can see just how adorable I am and will invite me to corrupt the young minds of America. I'm sure Ian will be grateful I have the outlet.

You are all my new best friends. Thank you for helping me go viral (no penicillin necessary). And, Newark, the love child of A&GG is VERY funny. I wish I had thought of it. Are you a writer? Are you going to use it?
If you wend your way to sunny Seattle - where it only rains during author signings - we'd love for you to stop by Seattle Mystery Bookshop! We've loved selling the first novel, and we're certainly looking forward to the second one as well!
I'd like to join the BFF group too. Delurking to say that since having a baby exactly 6 weeks ago today, that I am experiencing new things every day whether I want to or not. For example, I am breast feeding, typing with one finger, and chatting on a webcam all at the same time. I know, watch out, it's crazy here.
I LOVE the Seattle Mystery Bookshop. And loved that I'm loved.
Marc,
No, not a writer....just a boring information technology person working in a bank...
Feel free to use that line about W being the love child of A & GG....
