New Day #108

Yay! Have discovered yet another way to proscrastinate. However, the beauty of Free Rice is that you can avoid working by building your vocabulary and feeding the hungry at the same time.

For each word you get right on a vocabulary quiz, twenty grains of rice are donated to U.N. World Food Program, paid for by one of the site's advertisers. Why? I don't know. But for wordies like myself, it's a way to be get smarter. Or perhaps I should say sapient.

I love this site. It is a great way to procrastinate or just blow off a few minutes while a disc burns or a file downloads. I cannot for the life of me get over a 45 though. And I thought I was a bit of a "word nerd."

It is addictive. I had to stop myself and go to bed after 5000.

I love that site! I discovered it a few months ago.

How is the home search coming along for Bert and Ernie?
