Today I was the one-armed man. To insure I only used my left hand (I'm right-handed), I put my right arm in a sling I fashioned from a scarf. Disability Chic.
I had to go on a business trip. Advantage: people needing special assistance can pre-board. Disadvantage: no exit row.
At the risk of stating the obvious, having one hand is really hard. Top problem: bathroom issues. Second hardest: cutting a piece of meat.
Strangest observation: After only a few hours, I started believing I was really injured. Anytime someone touched my right arm, I flinched, thinking, "Careful, careful..."
The mind is a frightening thing. Or maybe it's just mine.

Are you left -handed ?. Otherwise, it must have been hell.
You should try new but easy things, like an aromatherapy session, or having champagne-and-orange juice for breakfast, or even ordering a shirt made to measure. (this I recommend)
Have done the first two, so I guess it's number three.
And yes, I'm right-handed. Guess I should have mentioned that. Think I'll fix it.
