New Day #78

I tried the Kindle, which sounds like a Yiddish dance craze, but is actually Amazon's new e-reader. I liked the Kindle a lot, so much so I'm hoping that Amazon will send me the Kindle if I plug the Kindle enough. (Especially since my blog is linked to my books on Amazon.) The Kindle is the right size and weight, and the page-turning of the Kindle isn't disruptive. And the Kindle is so easy. What's more, you can use the Kindle to order a book and have it appear instantly on your Kindle. Best of all, the books on the Kindle are cheap and you get to feel virtuous that you're not wasting paper when you use your Kindle.

I too tried to convince Amazon that I was an influential person who would surely recommend the device to all my friends if I were to randomly receive one in the mail.

Needless to say, i'm still waiting...

Gee Marc, I am completely convinced after reading your blog that I need a Kindle. Moreover, I'm going to tell all my friends and family that they too need to purchase this fantastic device: the Kindle.

Although, some of them are late technology adopters. If we could have more demo from a certain influential author and humorist on an ongoing basis...

(Hope this helps)

I noticed the page you posted on the Kindle was from Freakonomics. Are you preparing another Economy Conference?. Or was it just to show off as the true renaissance man ?

I've heard very good things about the Sony Reader.

Actually, someone wrote about it on a blog I read. http://ban-sidhe.com/blog/?p=1491
