So I was on the Daria and Mitch Show on 105.1 The Buzz yesterday, talking about my out-of-control adventure ordering an orange slice in my club soda when I suddenly realized I'd never eaten a lemon or a lime.So I did.
Suffice it to say there's a reason why I never have before.

If you slice the lemon very fine, put it on some bread,add a tiny sprinkle of salt, and pour olive oil on top, You will probably like it.
I must admit, though, it is better with orange instead of lemon.
Lemon and Lime
take too much time
to become sweet.
They are best
when only zest
to flavor a treat.
The song "Lemon Tree" does carry an important message...."but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat." Now you know for sure.
BTW, the Frog Queen loves the "Lemon Tree" song. She would especially would enjoy an a capella rendition.
