New Day #248

Today the gods took the godkids to Glowing Greens for Glow-in-the-Dark Mini-Golf. Made all the more trippy with 3-D glasses.

No matter how you dress it up, though, it's still mini-golf, which lost its novelty after about four holes. That said, Amy and I enjoyed wearing our 3-D glasses outside, which made the whole world blurry in a happy drunk way.

Regular readers know that Amy doesn't need any encouragement in developing a new perspective. After ordering at Burgerville, she experimented with dunking chicken strips in her milk shake.

I tried it. There's a reason why it's not on the menu.

Ian's no slouch in the Do Something New department, either. Like his sister, he's been committed daily, having just gotten his ear pierced with her.

They then experimented with new uses for the lids from their shakes. Like earphones:

And binoculars:

I can't decide whether the godkids are precocious or the gods are immature.

Please, show photos of Amy and Ian more often. Would love to see Amy´s front teeth growing- grown. And Ian looks really handsome with his hair "not an imitation banker any more".

Being Spanish, It would be bad form for me to comment on your candidates for president, in spite of the fact that whatever happens in November is going to affect us all, anyway.

Clearly those godkids help keep you young, not immature! It's been years since I've played mini golf, and I've never done the glow-in-the-dark variety.

Love the earphones!
